celebration of our nation’s 250th birthday?

Can you hear children laughing as they chase fireflies and watch in awe at fireworks blooming across the summer night sky?

Can you see veterans dawning weathered uniforms proudly leading Old Glory down Main Street as community members rise to their feet, hands over their hearts?

Maybe you remember your grandfather coming home with grease on his hands after a long day in the field. Or your grandmother insisting there was always room for one more chair at the dinner table because no one should ever eat alone. Maybe you remember your first job. Your first paycheck. The pride that came from earning something with your own two hands.

That’s America.

Every generation believes tomorrow can be better than today

250 years ago, our founders handed us something remarkable. Not a finished nation. They knew they wouldn’t see its final chapter. What they gave us was the freedom and the responsibility to write it. And look what ordinary Americans have written.

Farmers who fed a growing nation.
Factory workers who built the arsenal that defended freedom.
Teachers who opened worlds with a single lesson.
Builders who raised our skylines and paved our highways.
Truck drivers who kept America moving.
Nurses who stood beside us on our hardest days.
Entrepreneurs who turned impossible ideas into industries.
Scientists who cured diseases.
Astronauts who reminded us that this beautiful planet is one home, shared by us all.
Retirees who still volunteer, mentor, and quietly hold communities together.
Mothers and fathers who sacrificed so their children could climb higher than they ever could.

Most of their names will never appear in history books. But they are the authors of our story. Because America wasn’t built by extraordinary people. It was built by ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

People who refused to believe that “impossible” was the final answer.
People who looked at injustice and said, “Not anymore.”
People who looked at hatred and answered with courage.
People who looked at division and chose to build community instead.

That is who we are. America has never been defined by where we began. America has always been defined by what we were brave enough to become.

But we all face the same test

There will always be those who profit from fear. Those who divide neighbors because division is easier to control. Those who tell us that truth doesn’t matter - that power matters more than people. That if we are frightened enough, angry enough, exhausted enough, we should surrender our voice to someone who promises to speak for all of us.

That’s not a warning about one man. Demagogues change parties. The warning should feel as eternal as our hope.

America has endured because ordinary people refused to hand their future to kings, tyrants, or wealthy elites who believed that money could purchase power and that power could purchase obedience.

They stood up.

Not because standing up was easy. Because freedom was worth it. Now it’s our turn.

To reject fear.
To reject hatred.
To reject the lie that our fellow Americans are the with his endorsement from an increasingly unpopular President. And the candidates vying to catch up are trying hard to prove their MAGA loyalty and credentials by sharing their hard-line stance on everything from immigration to the Second Amendment and abortion. They want to take orders. They want to take your money so they can run more annoying attack ads. And they want to pick and choose which laws they choose to follow in supporting the President’s chaotic policies.

Here’s the problem with that, my fellow District 5 community members. Those increasingly extreme policies are pandering to a vocal MAGA base that does NOT represent the needs and position of most of you, folks who believe in a Republican Party that used to fight for your conservative values. The President and Republican Congress approval ratings are at all-time lows (perhaps with the exception of the January 2021 Capitol riot) - and most Americans, including many Republicans like me, are pissed.

And there are a lot of reasons for that. Every other CD-5 Republican candidate unapologetically and unequivocally supports a President who demands their loyalty. He WANTS them in office because they’ve already agreed to abdicate their Congressional authority and responsibility to him. They have no leverage. They have no policy agenda beyond what the President will support in return for their undying devotion. Whether that’s getting us involved in global conflict for natural resources, pulling funding for important childcare and education services, or blocking extensions to healthcare subsidies that limit healthcare costs until a viable alternative can be implemented.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" fact, I don’t want to be like those candidates. I don’t want your hard-earned money. I don’t wait for permission - I take responsibility. And my policies, ideas, and focus are on YOU. Your frustration with healthcare premiums that skyrocketed for many of you this year. Your struggles to budget for groceries that cost way too much. Out of control housing, drug, and energy prices. While all of my competition is busy repeating the President’s talking points about “affordability being a hoax” or that “Joe Biden and the Democrats are the reason for all of your pain,” I’m here to say I know it’s not a hoax, I understand your pain, and I have plans to address those real issues affecting all of you in this district. Blaming predecessors sounds great at a rally - but it does nothing to tackle the problem. It’s time we stopped deflecting and started acting.

My policies are 100% tied to your needs

1) You told me: “We’re tired of unchecked power, chaos, lies, and greed.”

My commitment: Eliminate fraud & corruption. Create the DOGE we all deserved.

I have spent 25 years fighting fraud and will apply that experience to root out fraud, waste, abuse, and insiders.

Congress must reassert its authority and prevent overreach.

2) You told me: “Everything costs way too much. We’re tired of rich, career politicians calling rising costs a hoax. They are out of touch with reality.”

My commitment: Act now on affordability. This is a crisis we feel every day.

I will cap tariffs and target energy, housing, healthcare, and education costs. Young families can’t afford to get started and seniors can’t afford to slow down. That needs to change.

3) You told me: “We’re tired of politicians who promise to reign in spending and put America first, but sacrifice our future and weaken global stability.”

My commitment: Fuel American innovation. Drive economic prosperity and cut the deficit.

I have a plan to launch the new Innovation Corps to develop high-tech scientific advances in AI, medicine, energy, transportation, infrastructure, housing, and healthcare, then license those innovations to cut the deficit and fund the program.

American ingenuity is the only way to reverse trillions in debt.

One simple step I ask from you

East Valley Republicans & Independents, friends, and neighbors, if you’re tired of all the chaos and money in politics, SIGN my petition to get on the ballot so I can fight back against the loyalist crowd. Then please share with a few friends.

It only takes a minute. https://go.azsos.gov/6bmy

Sharing is so important to hit our signature goal.

<picture></picture>

<g>

</g><polyline points="15 3 21 3 21 9"></polyline><polyline points="9 21 3 21 3 15"></polyline><line x1="21" x2="14" y1="3" y2="10"></line><line x1="3" x2="10" y1="21" y2="14"></line>

What I’m fighting for

I’m fighting for a better future for ALL of us - right, left, and everyone in between. someone stole your loved one’s hard-earned money. How’d that make you feel? Stupid. Violated. Angry. Scared. Exposed.

That’s exactly how we should all feel when politicians waste, abuse, or steal taxpayer money. Pissed. And demanding answers. But in Washington, nobody is accountable.

Where’s the outrage? Where’s the resolve to defend the rule of law and the Constitution - and to root out blatant corruption and fraud in politics?

I’ve been fighting to protect everyday Americans and businesses from financial fraud for almost 25 years. And we can apply the same principles to root out billons in fraud in Washington.

Your tax dollars are not monopoly money.
They’re groceries.
Rent.
Childcare.
Healthcare premiums.
Retirement.

And I don’t care which party is abusing them. If someone breaks the rules, I go after them.

But you can’t drain the swamp if you’re part of creating it. You want to drain the swamp? Don’t hire another mouthpiece shepherded in by the President and elite donors. Hire someone with the experience to call out and hold accountable those who break the rules, regardless of which side they’re on.

That’s been my career. I already do this work - I’m just taking it to Washington.

And if you think I’ll turn into them once I get there, then don’t vote for me. Fire me.

These are my promises for accountability:

I’ll publish public scorecards.

I’ll explain bills and my votes in plain English – so there’s no question that I’m serving the will of the people in this district.

And I’ll livestream public, in-person monthly town halls where any member of the district can voice their concerns, share their stories, or ask for support. These won’t be staged applause traps with pre-screened attendees and softball questions.

Some candidates need MAGA energy to survive. I’m building something different. A coalition of Republicans, Independents, and people who stopped voting because they’re tired of being lied to.

If you want a loyalist to wait for permission and repeat party talking points, I’m not your guy. If the President is right, I’ll say it. If he’s wrong, I won’t cover for him.

If you want someone who’ll take orders and vote as their told, then vote for someone else.

But if you live in the East Valley and you’re sick of the political ass-kissing …
Or you’re thinking to yourself, my life is harder now than it was a couple years ago …
Or you want someone who will do what’s right, even if it’s hard …

Then SIGN MY PETITION and share it with a friend.
And I’ll earn your vote before the primary election.

Your voice matters. Your anger is justified. And it’s time we used it to fix what’s broken.

Here’s a QR code to sign my petition or share with friends:

Subscribe now

The Epstein files will dominate headlines, fuel conspiracy theories, and drag more famous names through the mud. But let’s be honest - it probably won’t tell us anything we don’t already know about our leaders. It’ll just confirm it. The President told us everything we needed to know about his character over a decade ago. And he’s reinforced it time and time again. So why are we surprised this time?

The Epstein files are just the latest example of our political rot

Here’s the first truth: Every American deserves complete transparency from our government. Every victim deserves to be heard. And every pedophile, trafficker, and anyone complicit in their crimes should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

No spin, no mercy, no selective redactions. No excuses about “protecting reputations.” Trust only exists when truth does. And until our leaders stop treating truth like a political liability, we’ll keep living in a system that protects predators instead of everyday Americans.

And the second truth? The real scandal here isn’t going to be the files. It’s us. Because at some point, this stopped shocking us. The notion that powerful men use their influence to abuse and exploit? To prey on innocent victims? We’ve basically come to expect it. Presidents, senators, billionaires, judges - we’ve watched them fall, then rise again. And somewhere along the line that became acceptable.

That’s the crisis. The crimes themselves are horrendous and inexcusable. But our national shrug in response is equally detestable. We tell ourselves “it’s just politics” or “the other side is involved too,” as if moral bankruptcy is a prerequisite for power.

We excuse lies as strategy, corruption as leadership, and cruelty as strength. And when the next scandal breaks, it dominates the headlines, we act outraged for a week, then move on to the next circus. What are we doing?

At some point, we have to ask: Where do we go from here?

Do we keep trudging along, pretending it’s normal that our so-called public servants behave like untouchable feudal lords? Do we keep letting money, power, and fame erase accountability? Or do we finally draw a line and say enough?

This isn’t about partisanship. It’s about the character of those entrusted with our nation’s ultimate responsibilities. The highest office in the land should still mean something sacred - something aspirational. If we lose that, then we lose the compass that guides us. And that’s exactly what’s happened. We’ve let greed, power, and narcissism replace decency, humility, and moral courage.

This nobody would ensure that we prosecute any individual responsible for crimes against humanity. Their actions are inexcusable. And it’s time we hold them ALL accountable.

We can’t defend the indefensible

When these files drop, expect outrage. Expect headlines. Expect politicians pretending to be disgusted when they’re really just calculating how to spin it. But when the smoke clears, the real question won’t be about Epstein or his enablers - it’ll be about us.

Because what this truly exposes is the national rot we’ve come to tolerate. We’ve normalized corruption, fetishized celebrity, and confused wealth with worth. We shrug off the moral decay at the top because we’ve been taught to believe “that’s just politics.” But it’s not just politics. But I’ve seen enough to know we’re standing on the edge.

America isn’t broken the way a window breaks. It’s broken the way human spirit breaks. Slowly. Quietly. Until one day, you realize the light’s gone out behind their eyes.

We’ve all felt it. That quiet, suffocating heaviness. The slow collapse of a country that once promised more than merely survival.

It’s not about politics anymore. It’s our collective exhaustion.

A hard-working woman in Chicago keeps her thermostat at 55 degrees all winter. She wraps herself in blankets and calls it cozy. She doesn’t tell her kids the heat’s been shut off before.

A man in Detroit stares at the empty space where his job used to be - an auto plant now running with robots and foreign contracts. He scrolls the classifieds every night. They all pay half what he used to earn. He feels useless but he smiles at his wife and assures her it’ll be fine.

A veteran in DC wakes up at 3:00 AM again. Sweating. Heart beating out of his chest. Reaching for a gun that isn’t there. He can’t remember the dream, just the sound of someone screaming. But it might’ve been him.

A grandmother in Phoenix spends her days watching the same loop of game shows. Her assisted living center is understaffed. The nurse doesn’t know her name, and the family she raised is too busy trying to stay afloat to visit. She holds a photo of her late husband and whispers to it because no one else listens.

A mother in Atlanta fills the gas tank halfway. She fills her kid’s stomach halfway too. She’s learned the art of rationing hope.

A farmer in Kansas stares at his dying crops. He used to know his neighbors, but they sold out years ago. Now it’s just him, his land, and the hum of corporate silos that own more of his town than anyone.

A young man in Florida scrolls endlessly on his phone. He hasn’t spoken to another human being in two days. He’s got 3,000 followers, not one actual friend. He doesn’t remember what it feels like to be seen.

A father in Pennsylvania buries his head in his hands at the kitchen table. His son overdosed last month. He tells people it was an accident, but he knows the truth. He doesn’t cry anymore. He just stares at the wall until the sun rises.

A single woman in Nevada sits in her car outside the grocery store, counting crumpled dollars, deciding what’s worth more - food or gas to get to work.

And a little boy in Texas falls asleep listening to his parents argue about money. He pretends to be asleep so they won’t see him cry.

Life with silent judgment

This is the America we’ve built.

Not the one in commercials or campaign speeches. The one behind closed doors. The one we don’t talk about.

A country where people are alive, but not living.

Where the middle class became the working poor and the working poor became invisible.

Where we stopped talking to each other because we’re too busy trying not to drown. And somewhere along the way, empathy became weakness.

We call people “lazy” when they collapse from exhaustion.
We call them “entitled” when they ask for help.
We call them “crazy” when the noise gets too loud in their heads.

But if you scratch away the labels, you’ll find the same story underneath every one of us.
We’re scared.
We’re tired.
We’re running out of rope.

This is what happens when greed and grift become the national religion. When billionaires buy our leaders. When the news sells outrage for profit. When truth is optional, and humanity is an afterthought.

We’ve built an empire of loneliness, with towers of glass and steel that reach for the sky while the people who built them sleep on the streets below.

We’ve traded compassion for convenience, justice for profit, and faith for followers.

We used to be a country that pulled over to help.
Now we film the wreckage and scroll on.

Let’s be honest. We’re not OK.

We are a nation holding its breath.

A collective inhale, waiting to see if anyone still cares enough to breathe out. Because here’s the truth no politician wants to say:

We’re not fine.
We’re not thriving.
We’re teetering.

And what happens next, what we choose to do now, decides who we become. We either decide that our neighbors are worth saving, or we let this quiet collapse finish what it started.

If you’ve ever felt invisible, unheard, unseen - you’re not alone.
If you’ve ever stared into the dark and wondered if tomorrow was worth it - you’re not broken.
If you’ve ever felt like this country forgot you - you’re right.
It did.

But forgetting doesn’t have to be forever.

We can still remember what it means to be human.
We can still choose to care.
We can still decide that no American - not the mother skipping dinner, not the veteran screaming in the dark, not the lonely kid staring at a glowing screen - should be left to carry their weight alone.

Because this isn’t about saving a nation. It’s about saving us.

The people. The pulse. The last fragile thread holding this country together.

And maybe that’s still enough.

We are standing on the edge of us.
One step forward, we rise.
One step back, we disappear.

The decision is ours. But time is running out.

Subscribe for free to receive new posts!

The America I live in...cares, fights, hopes, loves, serves.

I may be just a nobody but I’m fighting for you - because I AM one of you.

Mike Gross

Share

We live in a different reality than our leaders

I don’t live behind iron gates or inside marble walls. I don’t spend my nights mingling with billionaires and lobbyists. I spend my days listening to people who are tired. Tired of the noise, tired of the lies, tired of being invisible to the people who were elected to serve them.

Meanwhile, the President is living in another reality. In his recent 60 Minutes interview, these were his own words:

He says “the country’s in great shape, we’re ready to rock,” even though the government is shutdown and no one can agree on anything.

He says he’s “solved inflation,” even as Americans see prices climbing every month.

He says he “has a plan to fix healthcare,” even though his only plan has been to dismantle the program that millions rely on, especially those with pre-existing conditions.

He says he’s “ended almost every war,” except the one he said he’d end on day one in office.

He says ICE “hasn’t gone far enough” in its violent approach to rooting out criminals, even though the reality is that nearly every detainee’s only crime was entering the country without following the rules.

And he “can’t even remember” which crypto billionaire he pardoned recently - but somehow he remembers to reward his donors while cutting programs that feed working families.

Sure, he’s in total control.

That’s not leadership. That’s a President who’s completely out of touch.

The America I live in is struggling

Ask a single mom choosing between rent and groceries if inflation’s been “solved.”
Ask a family that can’t pay next year’s healthcare premiums if the system’s “an easy fix.”
Ask a farmer crushed by tariffs and debt how “strong” the economy feels.
Ask a teacher working two jobs to afford childcare if this is “the hottest America has ever been.”

The President and our leaders are living in a gold-plated fantasy, surrounded by yes-men and billionaires who sip champagne while the rest of the country quietly struggles to survive.

We deserve a leader who takes responsibility. Not blaming every failure on his predecessors while embracing every victory as his alone. So much for rising together.

The America I live in … isn’t partying at Mar-a-Lago. It’s driving trucks, waiting tables, teaching kids, planting crops, saving lives, fixing engines, and working overtime to stay afloat.

The America I live in … is hurting. Its people are divided, burnt out, frustrated, and scared that they won’t be able to pay their bills.

The America I live in … is made of people who’ve stopped expecting government to help. Because it hasn’t in a long time.

Let’s hit the reset button

America needs a reset from the inside out. It may take a few years but that’s why we can’t afford to wait to start changing the world.

I’m not here to protect the 1%. I’m here to lift the 99%. Every single “nobody” who keeps this country running while being told they don’t matter.

I don’t have a golden ballroom. I don’t have a billionaire’s checkbook. But what I do have is a heart and passion for this country, a head full of ideas, and a plan that can work for everyone.

Here’s what THAT future looks like:

We make healthcare universal, because no one should go bankrupt for getting sick.
We reform taxes, because billionaires shouldn’t pay less than bus drivers.
We launch the Innovation Corps, creating millions of jobs with purpose, rebuilding and advancing the country just like our farmers would - hands-on and with pure American spirit and ingenuity. We cure disease, advance tech, and modernize infrastructure.
We guarantee education that prepares kids for the world ahead - not reliving the past.
We create housing that’s affordable, energy that’s clean and reliable, and communities where families don’t just survive - they thrive.

That’s the future I stand for. Not promises for the privileged. Promises for us.

And here’s my commitment to you:

You’ll get transparency - not half-truths, made-up numbers, and mind games.
You’ll get a leader who listens - not someone obsessed with being the smartest person in the room.
You’ll get ideas that unite us - not slogans that divide us.
You’ll get someone who learns, grows, and leads WITH the American people, not talking down to them.

I want you engaged. I want you asking questions. I want you demanding results.

Because that’s how democracy is supposed to work - not as a show, but as a shared project. If you hate an idea, tell me - respectfully. Share your experience and why it’s so important to you. If you want to make something better, share your feedback. If you love a plan, share it so others can get behind it. When I said these are “Promises for Us,” I meant it.

These aren’t political fights. They’re human. They’re about lifting up those in need. They’re about ending the unfair advantages for the rich keeping everyone else buried in the sand. They’re about making sure everyone has a fighting chance in a system intentionally working against them.

2028 belongs to the nobodies

The next American leader should belong to all of us. Not from Trump’s MAGA bench. That’s just more of the same chaos, division, and empty promises. They’ll continue to sell outrage, but never deliver outcomes. And we deserve better than a copy of a show that’s already failed us.

I intend to be that leader we didn’t know we needed - so it’s time you got to know this nobody. I work hard, speak my mind, and won’t stop fighting for what’s right for America, our communities, and for all of us - just like all of you.

Expect more. Demand results. Ask tough questions. This nobody is counting on it.

Share

Reality check, America

Millions of lives are in your hands

Mike Gross

Share

I’m just a nobody. But ask me what I stand for, and it will always start with us - the builders, the doers, the dreamers. The everyday Americans who still believe this country can be better than the headlines say it is.

And as we prepare for another round of major government shutdown impacts, with SNAP benefits expiring on Saturday, I want to be clear. I don’t care if you’re allied with MAGA or Democrats.

40 million+ (mostly kids and elderly) of your fellow Americans will lose access to food in a couple days.

That includes families who’ve lost their jobs, got furloughed, or don’t have savings.
That includes veterans and college grads who can’t find work due to AI and automation taking entry-level jobs.
And that includes seniors choosing medicine over meals.

In a couple months, there’s another cliff. Healthcare subsidies expire and millions more will have to go without insurance because they can’t afford the premiums. They’ll have to live in fear of an emergency that leads to a lifetime of debt because they can’t afford basic healthcare coverage for their families.

What the hell, America?

The silence of our leaders is deafening

I said it before and I mean it. Wake up!

The real crisis in America is not what one side is or isn’t doing. Is. Insane.

This is NOT who we are or who we need to be.

I don’t represent the rich, the loudest, or the most powerful. I represent the rest of us - the millions of nobodies who step up for people in need. Those who selflessly serve our communities. And all the nobodies who keep this country moving and deserve a government that actually works for them.

Not this inhumanity. Not chaotic change. Not empty promises.

My life obviously doesn’t revolve around Washington. I grew up in Kansas, where you learn early that if a fence is broken, you fix it. You make it better, stronger. You don’t argue about whose fault it is while the cattle wander off. You roll up your sleeves, you work together, and you GET IT DONE.

That’s the spirit we’ve lost - and the one I’m bringing back. Our leaders need to get it done…now.

A country intentionally divided by culture wars

We’ve been told to see each other as enemies. Left against right. Red states vs. blue states. Haves vs. have nots. Neighbors shouting. Families and friends sit in silence. Intentionally wedged apart so we can never find common ground - so a shared purpose doesn’t rise up and demand better.

That’s not leadership.

But here’s a secret the billionaires and party bosses don’t want you to know: we’re on the same team. The farmer in Kansas and the nurse in Boston. The teacher in Atlanta and the truck driver in Texas. The single mom, the immigrant, the veteran, the student.

Different stories. Same dream.

Today’s leaders shout insults. Tomorrow’s will deliver on their promises.

Real leadership is humble. It listens. It has empathy and grace. It stands up for what’s right. And it believes the people beside you can rise if you believe in them first.

That’s how we’ll rebuild this country, the way the best teams win: by trusting one another, by working for something bigger than ourselves, by remembering that kindness and compassion aren’t weakness.

We can disagree fiercely and still move forward together.
We can demand accountability and still lead with grace.
We can rebuild this country one act of decency at a time - and still swing for the fences when it counts.

But we can’t afford to wait. Millions of lives are literally at stake.

We need solutions. We need action. And we need to get to work…now.

Demand answers. Then more. The nation should serve its people.

Right now, we must demand an immediate end to the shutdown and funding of these critical SNAP and healthcare lifelines.

Then start demanding action, real long-term change. Not slow bureaucracy.

Healthcare for all.
Women’s rights.
Minority rights.
Immigrants’ rights. The same opportunities our ancestors had to build the American dream.
Fair wages and service work with a purpose.
Mental health resources.
Affordable housing.
Education that unlocks potential.
Clean, safe, affordable energy.
Truth and justice for all.

These are not pie in the sky. They’re all possible. All achievable. All inevitable for a people that live up to their definition of what it means to be Americans. Remember that.

Then demand accountability from all branches of the government. This isn’t a game. No more get out of jail free cards. No one is above the law, including the President, Congress, and Courts.

Our demands are constant because we never stop believing that we can provide for our families, protect the needy, and serve our communities. That’s the great promise of this nation.

So join this nobody, and bring a little stubborn hope. The kind that doesn’t quit when things get hard. The kind that refuses to accept that divided is our permanent state.

Because deep down, we still know how to come together. We’ve done it before.

I’m for you.
I’m for us.
And together, we’ll prove that a bunch of nobodies with a plan, a big heart, and a whole lot of belief can change everything.

Share

Where is my Congressman?

Sebastian, have YOU seen my Congressman???

Mike Gross

Share

Hey America. Mike Gross here. Your Nobody-for-Prez option for 2028. You know, the “voice for all of us” candidate who still believes public service should mean actually serving the public.

Today, we’re here at home. Arizona’s Fightin’ Fifth. My district.

Now, maybe you’ve heard of my Congressman, Andy Biggs. One of the six who asked Trump for a pardon after January 6th. No?

Maybe you remember him as the guy who won $10 million bucks from Publisher’s Clearinghouse back in ’93. Yeah, that’s right, the man literally hit the lottery and decided Congress was his next jackpot.

Anyway, I’ve been trying to find this guy. Check on him. Ask what he’s doing for our district - for the people actually paying the bills, feeling the pain, and struggling through this shutdown.

He’s not in DC. Only been there 20 days in 4 months. Nice gig if you can get it.

He’s not in Gilbert. Not Mesa. Not Apache Junction. Not Chandler. Not Queen Creek where I live.

He is, however, very active on Facebook. Lots of posting. Not the cinematic version with riots and rubble, but something slower, emptier, and crueler. It’s a collapse of fairness. A collapse of connection. A collapse born from apathy - from a nation too distracted or too divided to see what’s really happening right in front of it.

Drive through rural America. The skies are still wide, the towns still familiar. But look closer. The farms are consolidating into massive corporate operations, not family hands. Local banks have become branches of megabanks that know nothing about the people or the community. Hardware stores, feed shops, diners, all shuttered or replaced by chains owned from afar. Kids leave town because there’s no future in staying, and the parents pray that their small towns don’t die with them.

Now drive into the cities. The skyline sparkles, a false promise of prosperity. Beneath the glass towers, teachers, nurses, delivery drivers, and young families scrape by in a housing market that sees them as prey. Rents have tripled. Hedge funds scoop up starter homes before families even get a showing. In Dallas, in Phoenix, in Miami, once-thriving neighborhoods are hollowed out by investors who never live there, just extract profit.

Two Americas. Both struggling. One rural, one urban. Both victims of the same disease: an economy that rewards speculation and punishes hard work.

The path of apathy

So how did we get here?

Because the 99% stopped watching. We tuned out while the powerful rewrote the rules. We let billionaires tell us that government was the problem - and then watched as they bought the government piece-by-piece.

They cut their own taxes, stashed their profits offshore, lobbied for subsidies, and called it success. They sold the dream that “you can strike it rich like us,” while quietly closing the doors behind them.

And we believed them.

We saw their rockets, their yachts, their philanthropy, and mistook it for patriotism. We forgot that their fortunes were built not only on risk and innovation but on a system designed to protect them from accountability.

They didn’t stay rich by paying their fair share. They stayed rich by shifting the burden to the rest of us. To the teacher in Kansas who pays higher tax rates than global corporations. To the small-town mechanic who can’t afford healthcare while CEOs take home multi-million-dollar bonuses. To the nurses in New York who pay more in payroll tax than billionaires do in capital gains.

And we let it happen - not out of malice, but distraction.

Because life got harder. And when life gets hard, it’s easier to believe simple stories.

That crime is exploding everywhere.
That immigrants are the problem.
That billionaires are heroes.
That fairness is socialism.
That corruption is just “how the world works.”

That’s just not true. Simple stories are NOT solutions.

Crime IS a problem worth tackling. We NEED secure borders. And capitalism and democracy are a POWERFUL 1-2 punch for success and the American dream. But they can’t be solved with lies and deflecting responsibility.

This is exactly how apathy grows. Not in bad people, but in good people too exhausted to solve what feels like everyone else’s problems.

A glimpse into that future

If we keep going this way, the America of 2040 will be unrecognizable.

Rural America will become an economic desert - vast fields owned by foreign investors, with fewer farmers, fewer schools, and smaller hospitals. Automation will harvest crops, but communities will be abandoned.

Urban America will be its opposite and its twin - overcrowded, overpriced, unequal. The wealthy will live in high-rise fortresses with private security and rooftop gardens while millions below them navigate a permanent crisis of rent, debt, and despair.

Public infrastructure nationwide will crumble as corporate taxes are cut to the bone. Teachers will still buy their own supplies. Seniors will still choose between medicine and food. Families will still need two jobs to afford one life.

And the 1% will call it progress.

They’ll build new luxury towers, launch new vanity projects, and tell the rest of us we should work harder, all while lobbying Congress to ensure the system never changes.

This is the America that indifference, distraction, and silence creates. Not with a big boom, but with quiet decay.

We need a loud awakening

But we can still wake up.

And that’s what my Promises for Us stand for, an awakening. A rejection of the myth that wealth equals virtue, or that billionaires will somehow save us.

Because they won’t. They can’t. Their entire worldview is built on accumulation, not compassion.

The Fair Tax & Opportunity Act won’t be about punishing success – it will be about restoring responsibility.

It says, if you succeed beyond imagination, you also inherit a duty. To the country that made your success possible. To the people who built the roads, taught your workers, and defended your freedom.

Under this blueprint, we remove the golden shields that protect the wealthy from paying their fair share:

Higher taxes on extreme wealth, over $50 million

Increased capital gains taxes for short-term speculation

Elimination of corporate subsidies for profitable companies and those buying back shares

Enforcement of crypto profit taxes so digital wealth doesn’t escape real accountability

Government equity stakes in any company that requires a public bailout

Those policies won’t destroy capitalism. They’ll redeem it.

And the trillions in fair revenue they create will directly fund Healthcare for All, the Innovation Corps, and job programs that lift every region of this country, from Iowa farms to Detroit factories to New York startups.

The renewal - a nation of shared prosperity

Let’s picture that alternative funded by human progress.

Rural America thriving again from investment, not charity. High-speed internet accessible everywhere. Innovation hubs in old manufacturing corridors. Family farms restored through clean-energy partnerships and tax breaks that reward local hiring, not stock buybacks.

Cities where teachers, nurses, and first responders can afford homes again. Where small businesses are rebuilt on main street, not swallowed by monopolies. Where communities rebuild wealth through ownership, not crippling debt.

Imagine healthcare workers in the new Medical Innovation Corps researching cures in facilities built in towns once forgotten. Imagine a nurse in Kentucky earning a strong wage, supported by public programs funded through fair taxes. Not scraps from the billionaires’ table.

That’s what renewal looks like.

When the 99% prosper, the whole nation rises. We all live in a country worth saving.

Finding the spirit of our nation again

This future doesn’t just fix the economy. It restores something spiritual.

The weight of hopelessness…gone. Parents can breathe again knowing their kids will inherit opportunity, not chaos. Communities that once felt abandoned rediscover pride and purpose. We breed resilience. Not resentment.

We stop seeing each other as enemies divided by class, race, or region, and start seeing ourselves as co-owners, authors of a shared dream.

That’s what the Promises for Us are all about. We can rebuild a country that’s been quietly breaking for decades.

Share

A call to action for the 99%

To the farmer in Kansas who’s tired of being ignored.
To the teacher in Texas who’s tired of paying more tax than billionaires.
To the nurse in New York who can’t afford her own healthcare.
To the small business owner in Ohio who wants to believe in the American Dream again.

This is your wake-up call.

The 1% aren’t your heroes. The skyline still glows, but the people beneath it are dimming. Neon hospital towers shimmer above cities like fortresses, their mirrored glass reflecting the lives they no longer touch. Inside, the wealthy glide through sterilized halls, scanning their retinas for entry into rooms humming with robotic surgeons, gene editors, and miracle cures. Outside, the rest of America watches from the dark. Coughing, waiting, praying for a system that no longer sees them.

In this near-future, ambulances no longer scream for everyone. They arrive only in wealthy zip codes and where insurance policies can afford the fuel. Emergency rooms are subscription-only. Children’s inhalers cost more than their parents’ monthly rent. People line up at pharmacies that sell hope in installments, where platinum-tier customers skip the line and basic care means an aspirin and a prayer.

The poor die quietly now - in the streets, in crowded apartments, in rural homes without clinics for hundreds of miles. Middle-class families drain their savings accounts and their dignity trying to survive a system that treats illness like debt collectors. Mothers pray their kids don’t get sick because the co-pay alone could cost their home. Seniors trade their prescriptions for groceries.

Greed masquerading as political righteousness

This is what happens when greed becomes policy. When corporations turn medicine into markets. When Congress dismantles subsidies and calls it efficiency. When preventive care is slashed under the banner of personal responsibility. When the insurance industry writes the laws, and politicians call it freedom of choice.

We got here by “cutting waste,” which turned out to be human beings.

We got here when leaders said universal healthcare was too expensive while approving trillion-dollar tax breaks for billionaires.

We got here when we decided that health was not a right, but a privilege earned by the wealthy.

It’s a nation that looks functional on paper, but it’s a slow-motion collapse of compassion. A society where We the People has beeen replaced by the rich and powerful…who make decisions that directly harm the very constituents they pretend to represent.

But that’s only our destiny if we allow it. We can and must choose a better path.

The other America - The one we can still build

Now imagine the alternative, the one still open to us, but fleeting with every human program cut.

In this America, no one chooses between their health and their home. Every child, every worker, every senior, every veteran gets the care they need simply because they exist, not just what they can afford.

Hospitals are not symbols of status. They’re centers of healing and hope. Community clinics rise where factories or offices once closed, employing local nurses, researchers, and technicians in good-paying jobs that rebuild both lives and towns. Rural areas that Washington forgot are alive again, powered by technology revolution and staffed by the next generation of doctors trained through the Medical Innovation Corps, a national service that unites purpose with progress.

Imagine a future where your zip code no longer determines your life expectancy. Where medical breakthroughs are made in America, by Americans, for all Americans.

That’s the healthcare vision behind Promises for Us 2028 - a covenant that treats healthcare as a human right and medical advances as a patriotic duty.

Big, bold change only happens if we demand it

This All For Us movement was never about cynicism. It’s about clarity. It’s about breaking from the illusion that the system can’t be changed. It can. It must. Because the cost of doing nothing is measured in human lives.

Under this vision, every dollar spent on healthcare becomes an investment in you, your family, your community, our nation. Investments in researchers discovering new cures, in universities driving technological advances, in construction crews building clinics, in engineers developing low-cost medical devices, and in caregivers earning fair wages and respect.

This is the America where compassion and common sense merge. Where government guarantees care and unleashes the creativity of a nation determined to heal itself.

The path back to humanity

When healthcare becomes universal, something deeper happens. We rediscover empathy.

Stress and fear evaporates from our lives. A parent no longer worries if a fever will bankrupt them. A teacher no longer hides her migraines because she can’t afford a scan. A young family no longer sees pregnancy as a financial risk. Seniors no longer ration meds to survive the month.

That kind of piece of mind changes a nation. It gives people room to breathe again, to dream again, to build again, to believe again.

Because health isn’t just the absence of disease. It’s the presence of hope.

Imagine children growing up in a country where medical care is a promise, not a privilege for the rich. Where they see scientists as heroes. Where curing illness replaces hoarding wealth as the highest form of achievement.

Imagine a generation raised on possibility, not just survival.

What it will mean for our kids - and their kids

If we choose this path, our children won’t remember a world where health was rationed - where the 99% were disregarded to protect the powerful.

They’ll live in one where service is celebrated, where their neighbors are researchers, nurses, caregivers, innovators - members of a great national effort to lift each other up.

The Innovation Corps will stand as a living symbol of that commitment - a new kind of American dream where purpose replaces profit as our measure of success. Every community will have a role in it: building, discovering, teaching, healing.

And future generations will look back on this moment, this crossroads between greed and grace, and wonder how we ever hesitated.

This has everything to do with life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And the decision is ours to choose compassion over cruelty.

The life-or-death choice before us

The choice is as clear as it is urgent. We can remain on the path we’re on, or we can build the future we were promised. A future where healthcare is a covenant, not for sale.

We can let our children inherit a country where the sick are punished for being poor - or one where the healthy lift the nation forward together.

We can continue pretending that healthcare for all is impossible. Or we can prove that the richest, most innovative country in the history of the world can, at last, take care of its own.

This isn’t a fantasy. It’s a fork in the road. And the direction we take will define not just our economy, but our American humanity. The path of greed leads to silence, to a nation where ambulances don’t answer the call and futures fade in waiting rooms no one can afford to enter.

The path of compassion leads to something greater. An America that heals itself, that listens again, that believes again.

We stand at the edge of both worlds. And the next step is ours.

Don’t just fight over subsidies. Demand Healthcare for all. It’s the first, most important, and most impactful Promise for Us, and it unites all of us - for each other.

Subscribe now

Bridging the great divide

Your problems are NOT the 1%'s problems. Most Americans actually agree on the same set of problems. But they don’t sound like the problems you hear from politicians.

It’s not about tariffs and inflation, border security and threats against democracy.

Families don’t struggle over the national debt or millions of people losing health coverage. We struggle with the real, raw, personal impacts we feel every day due to leadership’s failed policies and inaction.

Here’s the harsh reality of the very personal effects of a government that hasn’t worked for the 99% for a long time. We have hundreds of shared problems - and most have some simple solutions once we have the will to solve them.

Real problems for all of us - the promises we need to keep

Read them all. Feel them all. Are any of these your story? How about your neighbor? How about that person you saw in a video? It’s time “We the People” stood up for human decency. For a better life for all. For a more peaceful world for all.

It’s time we kept our promises to all of our fellow Americans just trying to get by and build a future for our communities. These are the problems of the 99%:

I want to be able to go to the doctor without fearing that I can’t pay the bill.

I want to buy healthier food for my family but I can’t afford fruits and vegetables.

I want my kids to get the best possible education so they can find their passion.

I want to buy a home but can’t even afford rent in a safe neighborhood.

I want to provide my aging parents with the best possible senior care, not for them to be locked away and forgotten.

I want to protect my kids from gun violence but my state has loose gun laws that make it easy for someone with mental illness to access deadly weapons.

I want a job with a purpose, not just a paycheck, but I don’t have a college degree.

I want peace, security, and human rights for everyone around the world but struggle to even fight for my own survival in the richest country in the world.

I want to be able to save for the future but I’m drowning in debt.

I want women to have full autonomy over decisions affecting their bodies, but the 1% of men insist that they own that decision.

I want affordable transportation to get to work but I’m stuck riding the bus because I can’t afford insurance and gas.

I want mental health support, healthcare, and housing for veterans so we don’t lose another single vet to suicide.

I want news that I can trust so I can get the facts, not endless biased streams of hate.

I want safe, reliable, clean energy that I can afford - not watching my electric bill spike because Google opened a new datacenter.

I want to explore the natural beauty of America but I have a disability and the parks are too crowded.

I want my immigrant family neighbors and friends to have the same shot at the American dream as my family did generations before me. Their families shouldn’t be traumatized and used as political pawns for the rich and powerful.

I want safe, accessible, affordable vaccines to protect my kids but I get mixed messages from experts.

I want my kids to stand up for what they believe in but I don’t know how - I’ve been the victim of bullies my whole life.

I want a compassionate justice system that doesn’t create a lifetime of retribution for those at the bottom while allowing those at the top to buy their way out of trouble.

I want candidates for office who represent my voice and have my life experiences, not an inherited fortune from Wall Street.

Know anyone with one of these challenges? Millions of “nobodies” can stand up and tell their stories…and demand solutions to these problems.

Our contrast to the 1% has never been more clear

The 1% doesn’t feel any of these. They don’t feel your struggles. In fact, they see them as a list of excuses. And they use your pain to gain even more power, control, influence, and wealth. When you have everything else, it’s an addiction to take even more.

The President and many political leaders don’t care about these things because they’ve never had to trade an emergency room visit for college...

Never felt the heartbreak of working two jobs and still not being able to afford healthy food for your kids…

Never had to sell part of the family farm to pay taxes.

Those aren’t problems for the 1%.
Their problems are not OUR problems.
The 1% want to play God.

The 1% has completely lost touch with reality

These are the problems of the 1%, the real swamp:

They want to be the center of attention. They want to matter. Look at them. Listen to them. Follow them. They would never lie to you.

They want the world to praise them. They want to win the Nobel Peace Prize because they’re the greatest President in history. They are the best.

They want to be the smartest person in the room. They were the first one who thought of everything. Everyone else is dumb.

They want every decision to run through them. This election was a mandate. All of their decisions are the right decisions. They don’t make mistakes.

They want to be the wealthiest person ever. They want the markets to serve their interests. Their life revolves around gold and they’ll be the richest person in the history of the world.

They want to rid the US of immigrants. Anyone who’s not like them is a threat. And they want you to believe they’re a threat to you too. Immigrants are trying to take away all that they’ve earned. All that they’ve built.

They want to choose who gets prosecuted and who gets mercy. They are the judge, jury, and executioner. And you can trust them because they’ve been subjected to witchhunt after witchhunt. They know who all the witches are.

Sound familiar? It’s laughable when you contrast the daily struggles of the 99% vs. the simple-minded, narcissistic, disconnected, alternative reality of the 1%.

Our President is unfortunately all of these.

We are better. We are FOR America.

I’ve never believed that America is broken - only that it’s been ignored. Ignored by a political class that stopped listening. Ignored by a system that protects itself instead of the people it serves. Ignored by leaders who mistake division for leadership and outrage for courage.

But America isn’t broken. It’s waiting. Waiting for us to remember what it’s capable of. Waiting for a generation of builders, believers, and dreamers to look past the noise and say, “Enough. Let’s fix this. Together.”

That’s what this movement is all about. These are the Promises For Us, for all of us who still believe in the idea of a new, better, stronger America. Not for a party, not for a class, not for the powerful few.

A vision of hope, with a plan of action

Hope alone doesn’t build bridges or balance budgets. It doesn’t lower prescription drug costs or create living wage jobs. But without hope, nothing gets built at all.

That’s why this movement isn’t just about feeling inspired. It’s about what comes next.

It’s about action.

It’s about taking the ideals that have always defined this country - freedom, fairness, hard work, and human decency - and turning them into a living, breathing agenda for the future.

Promises for Us is built on that belief that we can solve the biggest problems facing our people and our communities through ingenuity. Through building. Through a bold purpose.

And here’s the truth - it’s going to take work. Big, messy, imperfect, relentless work.

Because the future doesn’t belong to the loudest voices.

It belongs to those who roll up their sleeves and get to work fixing what’s right in front of them - and doing it together.

Let’s get started.

Share

Promises for Us 2028: A New American Blueprint for the 99%

Replacing Project 2025 with a real vision for the future - for all of us

Mike Gross

Subscribe now

Reclaiming the American promise

For too long, America’s promise has been broken because too many in power have forgotten who they serve. The last decade has shown what happens when government becomes a tool for the few rather than a home for the many. We’ve watched leaders in both parties weaponize fear, tear down institutions, and divide the people they swore to represent.

We’ve seen Project 2025 - an agenda of misplaced nationalism, not hope, take shape as a roadmap for control: control over our rights, our voices, and our democracy itself.

It promised order, but only delivers oppression.
It spoke of liberty, but only meant domination.
It aimed to secure America for the 1% - the powerful, the connected, the wealthy - while leaving 99% of us to fend for ourselves.

But that’s not the America we were meant to be.
And it’s not the America we will become.

Donald Trump’s dynasty and billionaire friends aren’t the answer.
Neither is JD Vance who called the President Hitler before a sudden change of heart. How have we forgotten?

The divisive rhetoric and blame shifting has to stop.

America needs a nobody. Someone who can replace the carnage of the past with hope and promise for the future. Someone who’s for us - the workers, teachers, farmers, parents, veterans, nurses, truckers, engineers - the 99% who shape this nation.

A new American contract for the 99%

This campaign and movement - Promises for Us 2028 - is about reclaiming our story. It’s about remembering that “We the People” means ALL of us. It’s about fighting for the 99% of Americans who feel unseen, unheard, and left behind - not by chance, but by design. It’s about replacing fear with faith, greed with grace, and division with purpose.

We can’t build a better future by recycling the same broken systems that serve the same small circle of billionaires. We can’t govern by executive order or ego. That’s why I don’t protect the status quo of the past.

We must govern by collaboration and by conscience. We must deliver a clean slate with a bold, hopeful vision and believable action plan. The era of one-party power and top-down control is over. The era of shared leadership, a split-ticket administration and a government that truly represents all of us, begins now.

We can create a fair tax system, universal healthcare, modern education, clean energy, and an economy that rewards hard work - not billionaires. We can have a government that listens, a democracy that includes, and a nation that leads with integrity again.

But we must start by keeping our promises - to each other.

The Promises for Us 2028 plan is a blueprint for moral, economic, and democratic renewal, not just a list of policies. It’s a vision for an America that finally keeps its promises to its people.

A nobody’s vision for all of us

When we talk about change, we’re really talking about people. The farmer who can’t keep up with the cost of equipment and whose crops can’t compete with corporate conglomerates. The single mother choosing between rent, groceries, her annual checkup, and childcare. The veteran waiting months or having to drive hundreds of miles to see a doctor for chronic pain and PTSD. The new graduate crushed by debt. The public servant watching a billionaire’s wealth grow 300% while they get furloughed and fear for their job.

These are not isolated struggles - they are symptoms of a system built to protect the elites. For decades, both parties have traded rhetoric about “working Americans” while quietly serving the whim of their top donors behind closed doors. That era ends here. Because democracy shouldn’t be for sale. Power shouldn’t be inherited. And freedom shouldn’t rely on privilege.

We will build a government that serves the 99% - all races, all incomes, all faiths, all beliefs - united by one truth. We deserve better.

Share

Promises for us

Promise 1: Universal healthcare for every American

Healthcare in America isn’t broken - it’s rigged. It funnels billions in profits to insurers and pharmaceutical giants while bankrupting families. And despite spending the most on healthcare per person, we rank last among wealthy countries in life expectancy and preventing treatable deaths. The Trump administration’s Project 2025 will dismantle what little protection remains, turning care into a privilege of wealth.

Our promise is simple: healthcare is a human right.

We’ll launch the Healthcare for All framework, expanding coverage through a public option that guarantees care from the day you’re born. We’ll directly negotiate prices with pharmaceuticals and providers, cap prescription costs, and end price-gouging to save taxpayers billions, while redirecting subsidies away from corporate profiteers to the patients who need them.

Every American, from the teacher to the truck driver, from the factory worker to the small business owner, will have access to the best possible care - for life.

Promise 2: The Fair Tax & Opportunity Act

The tax code has become the playground of the rich. Billionaires hide wealth offshore while working families foot the bill and the national debt skyrockets. Our Fair Tax & Opportunity Act will rewrite that equation - eliminating loopholes and offshore accounts, ending government subsidies for profitable companies, increasing taxes on the richest individuals (over $50 million), enforcing tax on crypto gains, simplifying the tax code, cutting taxes for the middle class, and eliminating federal income tax on anyone making less than the poverty threshold.

For the 99%, this means breathing room - a system that rewards work, not wealth. For the 1%, it means accountability. For America, it means balance.

Promise 3: Campaign finance and lobbying reform

Greed has replaced merit in our democracy. Lobbyists write the laws. Billionaires fund candidates. And citizens are left wondering if their voices even matter.

Our plan ends this corruption. We’ll propose and work with Congress to pass the Democracy Integrity Act to ban dark money, enforce term limits, restrict corporate lobbying, and set up a level playing field of publicly-funded campaign finance to shut the door on elections being sold to the highest bidder.

Power belongs in the hands of the people - not the pockets of the wealthy.

Promise 4: Education and workforce renewal

Project 2025 will defund public schools, drain critical education and special ed resources, and funnel taxpayer dollars to privatized systems with limited oversight or standardized outcomes. We will do the opposite: set new performance targets, promote innovative infrastructure, increase teacher pay, training and classroom funding, and rebuild America’s public education system into a launchpad for the future.

In addition, through the National Skills and Service Act, we’ll guarantee free community college and Career and Technical Education (CTE), expand apprenticeships, and connect education to real, living-wage jobs.

The next generation will inherit real opportunity with in-demand jobs with a purpose, not a lifelong debt sentence.

Promise 5: Housing as a right, not a luxury

We will invest in the American Homes for Us Initiative - building millions of affordable units, restoring public housing by transitioning and repurposing former commercial real estate, and incentivizing local ownership. We’ll combat corporate landlords who treat homes as hedge funds.

We’ll also prioritize affordable housing options for veterans so they’re not forced to live on the streets. Owning or renting a safe home should never be a privilege reserved for the few.

Promise 6: Clean energy, smarter transition

The Right pretends fossil fuels will last forever and the Left pretends renewables are ready to replace them overnight. The truth lies in innovation and building on our past while aggressively pursuing the future.

We’ll accelerate R&D and grid-level readiness for fusion, modular nuclear, and advanced renewables, while responsibly phasing out coal and reforming oil and gas. This balanced energy revolution will power our economy and protect our planet while creating jobs and without sacrificing reliability.

Promise 7: The American innovation & infrastructure plan

While billionaires build rockets, our bridges collapse. We’ll invest in the Rebuild America Plan, modernizing and expanding our infrastructure, delivering high-speed broadband to rural communities, and ensuring high-quality drinking water nationwide. We’ll also apply advanced desalination technology to fill our lakes and ensure plentiful water for crops.

Every project will be built by American workers - the backbone of a new industrial revival for all of us.

Promise 8: The Innovation Corps

We will launch a National Service and Innovation Corps jobs program that puts Americans back to work solving America’s problems - from green energy and AI ethics to advanced medical research and infrastructure modernization, and senior care to drone and robotic tech, rural revitalization, and civic engagement.

This is the new call to service. A Peace Corp for American innovation. Contribution instead of division. Purpose instead of apathy.

Promise 9: Ending corporate monopolies

We will dismantle the monopolies that control our food, tech, and media industries. By restoring competition through a Free Markets for Us Act, small businesses will thrive and consumer demand will decide the winners and losers in tomorrow’s economy.

Promise 10: Protecting democracy and voting rights

While Project 2025 aims to consolidate executive power, we’ll protect and expand democracy. Through a Freedom to Vote & Democracy Defense Act, every citizen will have equal access to the ballot. Gerrymandering will end. Paper ballot verification and electronic receipts will be the norm.

Democracy shouldn’t be for sale - and it should never be for one man to control.

Promise 11: Restoring the dignity of work

We’ll pass the American Worker Bill of Rights, ensuring living wages, paid leave, fair scheduling, and the right to organize. Workers built this country - now it’s time the country worked for them.

Promise 12: Affordable childcare and family security

Families are the foundation of the nation. We’ll provide universal pre-K childcare support, paid parental leave, and caregiver tax credits, because no parent should have to choose between a paycheck and their child’s care and education in their most formative years.

Promise 13: Protecting seniors, strengthening Social Security

We will expand Social Security and Medicare, funded by closing billionaire tax shelters. Seniors deserve security, not uncertainty. Retirement will once again mean rest, not risk. Not an ever-increasing retirement age, never privatized for corporate greed.

Promise 14: Defending women’s rights

We will codify reproductive freedom into federal law and guarantee access to care, contraception, and paid family leave. We trust women - and they alone should have the final say on their bodies. Period.

Promise 15: Veterans first

No more waiting, no more forgotten heroes. The Veterans Dignity Act will guarantee same-day mental health access, affordable housing, and job placement for every veteran who served our nation.

Promise 16: Reforming policing and justice

Justice must mean fairness - not fear. We’ll build community policing models, expand mental health and counseling co-response teams, and hold law enforcement accountable while providing them the tools and training they need to protect with integrity.

We acknowledge that crime is a real problem affecting all of us – even where we’ve made progress, there’s still a lot of work to do to make communities safe. So we’ll increase funding to local communities tied to policing service initiatives while eliminating weapons intended solely for the military.

Promise 17: Restoring truth in media

An informed public is essential to freedom. We’ll fund independent, non-profit journalism, break up or reject media monopolies, and protect whistleblowers who call out bias. Because democracy dies when truth becomes optional. Organizations labeled as news will also be held to a higher standard of facts vs. those intended for entertainment.

Promise 18: Immigration with humanity and border security

We’ll replace immigration cruelty and aggression with compassion, and chaos with competence. Border security will be humane and smart - using drone and sensor tech to minimize illegal crossings. Asylum cases will be expedited. Dreamers will finally receive a righteous path to citizenship, fulfilling Ronald Reagan’s original call for inclusion of those who’ve built a life, family, and work here in America.

Promise 19: Environmental renewal

We’ll make clean air, safe water, and climate resilience non-negotiable rights. Corporate polluters will pay to clean up the messes they make, while rural and urban communities alike will share in a clean, efficient energy revolution leading to sustainable growth and prosperity.

Promise 20: Restoring global leadership through cooperation

America will lead by example – not dominance. Through alliances, diplomacy, and shared innovation, we’ll rejoin the world stage as a partner in global progress, defending our allies, standing up for human rights, and promoting democracy abroad.

Promise 21: Defending the internet and digital privacy

Big Tech has turned citizens into products, your data into its most valuable asset. We’ll give individuals ownership of their data, enforce algorithmic transparency, and regulate AI ethically to ensure technology serves humanity, not the other way around.

Promise 22: Affordable housing for all

We’ll reimagine housing as infrastructure modernization, expanding supply through safe but cheaper building advances, reforming zoning laws, and incentivizing community land trusts - empowering families to own homes, not rent their futures.

Promise 23: Revitalizing rural America

We will restore the dignity of rural life by funding rural hospitals, eliminating global tariffs, developing agricultural innovation centers, expanding clean energy investments, and giving family farmers the freedom to compete. Every community, no matter how small, deserves a future.

Promise 24: Restoring faith in government

We’ll rebuild a government that works – DOGE done right. Digitized, transparent, and accountable to every American, with all of the actual receipts, not fabricated savings. Every agency will publish measurable goals and scorecards and Americans will finally see where their money goes and how their government performs.

Promise 25: Governing for all of us

We will establish the first split-ticket administration in modern history. Democrats, Republicans, and Independents sharing power, decisions, and accountability. The Presidency will no longer belong to a party…it will belong to the people. This is a cornerstone of our Promises for Us 2028. We can’t govern effectively if we can’t solve problems together for the benefit of all, rather than the billionaire few.

The promise reclaimed

These promises were written with humility and conviction - humility to know I won’t get it all right, and conviction to believe that together, we will make it right.

So, let’s argue. Let’s debate. Let’s challenge. But let’s not cancel each other. Let’s not shut the door because someone votes differently or believes differently or worships differently.

Because here’s what I know. Most Americans agree on far more than we disagree on.

We agree that healthcare should never bankrupt a family.
We agree that working hard should actually pay off.
We agree that our kids deserve better schools and safer communities.
We agree that corruption and greed have no place in a government meant to serve the people.
We agree that America should lead the world - not through fear, but through example.

This is what it means to lead for the 99%. To reject the false choice between chaos and corruption. To replace fear with faith, control with collaboration, and division with unity and purpose.

Donald Trump’s Project 2025 is a manifesto for one man’s power.
Promises for Us 2028 is a manifesto for all of our futures.

It doesn’t demand agreement on every policy. It demands belief in each other. It demands a common goal. It demands setting a bold vision and saying “let’s go achieve it.” Because democracy isn’t about consensus - it’s about commitment.

Commitment to listen. To learn. To build. To rise. Together.

America has kept its promises to the 1% for too long. Now it’s time we keep our promises to the people. The 99% have waited long enough.

We don’t need a king. We need a servant from among us.

A nobody for president.
A leader for all.
For the people.
Fulfilling promises for us.

Share

Politics didn’t break us, silence did

Healing the family divide takes grace...and taking one small step

Mike Gross

Subscribe now

A dear friend of mine reminded me today…

Somewhere between the shouting and the scrolling, we lost each other. Mothers and daughters. Fathers and sons. Parents who haven’t heard from their kids in years. Grandparents who’ve never seen their grandbabies. Best friends. Neighbors. Entire families and communities now splintered by politics and pain.

People who once shared a loving home, celebrated magical holiday memories, laughed together, taught you to ride a bike, helped pay for college - your rock in the darkest times. Only now, all we share are memes meant to divide and defend our side - to prove that we’re right. And eventually we just stopped trying. Tens of millions aren’t just avoiding tough conversations anymore. They’ve stopped having any conversations at all.

That isn’t just political division. It’s heartbreak.

You can feel it, can’t you? That deafening silence and agonizing ache when the phone doesn’t ring. When holidays get divided on party lines. When you think about someone you love, and realize you haven’t spoken in years because the world convinced you they were your enemy.

The truth is, both sides are hurting. Both believe they’re standing for what’s right. And both are convinced the other side has been brainwashed by lies. We’ve traded family for ideology, warmth for certainty, and compassion for pride. And it’s breaking us. When everyone’s shouting, no one’s really listening. We’ve let algorithms decide who deserves our compassion - and worse, who doesn’t.

It’s time to remember something simple and radical: we are stronger than politics. Love is stronger than the fear and hate used to divide us. It doesn’t have to be this way.

We’re not enemies. We’re family. So let’s act like it.

Let me be clear. Listening doesn’t mean you have to agree. It means respecting that every story has context - and every belief is grounded in someone’s truth. You don’t have to surrender your principles to care about someone who sees the world differently. You just have to care enough to stay in the room.

Start small. Pick up the phone. Send a text. Call. It starts with one act of courage - not shouting, not owning anyone - just reaching out. Calling your sister. Visiting your dad. Saying, “I miss you.” Even when it hurts. Especially when it hurts. Because that’s how love wins - through presence.

Ask about their life, not their vote. You won’t solve the country’s divisions overnight, but you might just find a real place where healing can begin…in living rooms across America where people choose connection over being right.

That isn’t weakness. It’s courage. The kind that builds bridges instead of burning them down. The kind that says, I still see you, even through all this noise.

We can’t rebuild a nation if we can’t take the first step, if we can’t sit across from one another. The world doesn’t change when someone wins an argument. It changes when someone cares enough and listens long enough to remember what matters most: the people who shaped us, stood by us, and still belong to us, no matter how far apart we’ve drifted.

The great American reunion

So, here’s a challenge.

Turn off the feeds for a day. Step away from the outrage machine.

Sit down with someone who matters to you and look them in the eyes again. Say “I want us back.” Then talk - about anything. Not to convince, but to connect. Let grace fill the space where judgment used to live.

Because Lord knows, America doesn’t need more walls.

It needs more love, more connection, more conversations, more understanding.

More kitchen tables.

It’s time to bring our families, our friendships, and our country back together - one conversation, one act of love, one brave moment of listening at a time.

Love each other again.
Hear each other again.
Heal each other again.

Because America isn’t dying from disagreement. It’s starving for grace.

And grace begins right here, right now. With all of us.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" Where you learn early that your livelihood depends on the weather, the soil, handshakes, and a buyer who keeps his word.

My family and our community has lived through a lot - the anxiety of watching clouds roll past when you need rain, the fear of losing a season’s worth of work because animals get sick, a buyer backs out, or a market collapses. You don’t have time for Washington’s “BS” or excuses.

But that’s exactly what this is - another round of Washington’s excuses.

You’ve been used as pawns in a political game. Promised the world. Fed empty slogans. And then abandoned when it mattered most.

Tariffs have decimated the heartland

The President stood on stages in Iowa and said, “Our farmers are patriots. You’re winning again. I alone can fix it.”

But fixing it meant tariffs that killed demand for your crops and skyrocketed prices of everything from combines to diesel. It meant handing sweetheart deals to commercial farming operations and foreign suppliers while small-town families lost their land. So how exactly is that making America great for farmers?

He called it a trade war. But it’s not a war when only one side is bleeding.

We were promised that tariffs would make America prosperous - give us leverage. Instead, they shut doors overseas. They drove prices down, dried up export markets, and left bins full of unsold grain from Kansas to Indiana. The family farm was collateral damage - and Washington didn’t blink.

And now the same administration that promised a golden age for agriculture is quietly watching as family farms go bankrupt at the fastest rate in a decade.

They’ll call it market correction. And make it easy for Vice President Vance to rush in with his AcreTrader venture investment to scoop up farmland from families on the brink of bankruptcy.

I call that betrayal.

Because you don’t tell a farmer to hang in there when his livelihood is collapsing under your policies. You don’t preach America First while cutting deals that hand Argentina your export markets. You don’t give billions in bailouts to corporate agribusiness while the independent farmer has to sell land just to stay afloat.

This isn’t just about bad economics. It’s about broken trust.

You were told Washington had your back - but all they did was put a target on it.

They used your hard work as a campaign prop, your struggle as a talking point, and your loyalty as a political asset.

But I’m not here to talk at you. I’m here to work with you. Because for me, this is personal.

Farmers always find a way to rise up

I know the heartbreak of watching neighbors lose the land their great-grandparents broke their backs to cultivate. I know the pride of a harvest done right - AND the pain of a market that doesn’t care how hard you worked. I also know that the future of our family farms doesn’t have to be a eulogy. It can be a rebirth.

Imagine a future where farmers aren’t just surviving - they’re leading the next ag revolution sparked by American ingenuity.

Where we invest in new, hardier crops that resist drought and disease.

Where innovation in the land, tools, and tech make small farms more profitable, not obsolete.

Where drones and technology complement generations of human expertise.

Imagine partnerships (not handouts) that open global markets hungry for what America grows best. Over 9 billion mouths to feed worldwide, and we could be the engine that feeds them…sustainably, proudly, profitably.

We can expand high-speed Internet access so the next generation of farmers aren’t left behind.

We can invest in farm-to-market infrastructure that keeps costs down and speeds up supply.

We can give small producers the tools to compete globally - not by bowing to foreign giants, but by standing shoulder-to-shoulder as American innovators.

But that takes leadership and honesty. And here’s the truth: Washington isn’t coming to save you. But we can save ourselves.

That’s what this “All 4 Us” movement is about. It’s not about red or blue. It’s about you. Millions of nobodies putting the power back where it belongs - in the hands of those who feed America. Not the ones who exploit it.

You deserve more than slogans and sympathy. You deserve solutions. Fair trade that rewards effort, not exploitation. Research that helps your yields grow without killing your soil. Tax breaks that go to families, not foreign investors.

You’ve been lied to. But you haven’t lost your strength. You’ve been misled. And the script is always the same. Invent an apocalypse. Blame the “radical left.” Promise salvation if the faithful just click donate. It’s fundraising as psychological warfare - and billionaires like Donald Trump have perfected it.

The lies they sold

Let’s unpack a few of the absurdities they peddled in the profiteering masquerading as patriotism:

“Leftist terror networks are launching a coordinated assault on America.”

There is no organized left-wing terror network operating in the US. None. FBI and DHS reports list domestic extremist threats from multiple directions - not one monolithic “leftist” army. This line was invented to justify their panic pitch.

“Stephen Miller has revealed the White House’s secret plan.”

Stephen Miller gave a divisive political speech at a funeral intended to celebrate the life of a conservative leader who welcomed debate. That’s it. No secret plan, no documents, no evidence. Just rhetoric that labeled millions of Americans as “nothing” if they rejected hate and bigotry.

“We must act now to stop the radical left from taking over.”

The left isn’t taking over. The only thing under attack here is your checking account.

Every sentence of the campaign ad was engineered not to inform you, but to inflame you. Because inflamed people don’t think - they click “donate.” That’s a grift wrapped in a flag.

Fear doesn’t defend freedom

I’ll be blunt. President Trump, JD Vance, and the RNC turned the sacred act of democratic participation into a subscription scam. They dressed it up as a campaign against extremism, but it was always about funneling “grassroots donations” into Trump’s war chest.

Do you see the hypocrisy? The same crowd screaming about “corrupt elites” are quietly siphoning your hard-earned money to bankroll their own campaigns and legal bills. These are the same people who claim to be fighting globalist cabals while operating their own miniature cartel of dark money committees.

Calling half of your fellow Americans “terrorists” is reckless. Monetizing grief is despicable. And hiding the money trail behind patriotic branding is fraud.

These same self-proclaimed crusaders against corruption are running the biggest dark-money grift in modern politics. They rail against elites while living off small-dollar fear donations. They cry “rigged system” while milking it dry.

The Nobody way forward

I refuse to play this game.

That’s why I believe in a publicly-funded election system, where every qualified candidate gets the same budget, the same airtime, and the same shot. No PACs. No billionaires. No backroom deals. No secret money. No fear-mongering with hard-working Americans.

Just ordinary citizens choosing honesty over hysteria. Just candidates standing on their ideas, action, and results. Accountability AND transparency. Because the minute you accept a dime, you owe someone your vote. Mine isn’t for sale.

That’s how you build a level playing field. That’s how you end the arms race of deception.

What happened should be illegal

Let’s stop pretending this is just “politics as usual.” It’s not.

A sitting President, his administration, and the party using a recent assassination to stoke fear, invent terrorist plots, and lie about where donations go should not be protected speech. It’s fraud. Immoral. And quite possibly illegal.

I’d work with Congress to pass a Clean Elections and Honest Fundraising Act to:

Make deceptive fundraising practices a federal offense.

Require full transparency in joint fundraising committees.

End the revolving door between political action committees and personal legal defense funds.

Impose real penalties for false political advertising intended to incite violence or hatred.

If you want to run for office, fine. But you should have to be honest - not sell fear for Americans’ grocery money.

The American tradition of truth

Every president I admire - Republican or Democrat - has warned against this. Eisenhower cautioned us about “unwarranted influence.” Kennedy demanded “civic courage over comfort.” Reagan said, “Trust, but verify.” Obama reminded us, “We rise or fall together.”

Trump’s model is the opposite: divide and monetize.

That’s not populism. It’s predatory. And it’s poisoning our democracy from the inside out.

We need laws that make deceptive fundraising illegal, that shine a spotlight into every dark-money corner. Democracy doesn’t need more billionaires begging for sympathy and cash. It needs ordinary Americans demanding honesty and holding candidates, elected officials, and parties accountable. Yes, you too, Mr. President.

A final word

“Exposing Political Blood Money” isn’t just about one scam site. Every time a citizen falls for it, trust erodes.

America’s greatness has never come from whom we fear - it comes from what we build, together. Republicans claim Democrats want to “fund healthcare for illegal immigrants.” Democrats say Republicans are “holding America hostage” by refusing to extend Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies, which will drive up healthcare premiums for millions of Americans. Both sides are performing, and we the people are the collateral damage.

Here’s the truth: neither party is acting like the adult in the room. And the President (the man who once promised “I alone can fix it”) has chosen chaos over compromise. Instead of leading, Donald Trump has mocked negotiations, telling Democrats to “go f*** themselves” rather than doing the hard work of governing.

That’s not the face of a leader. That’s a coward with a personal vendetta.

Republicans control the White House, the Senate, and the House. They own this failure. They’ve spent months recycling lies about Democrats funding healthcare for “illegals” - claims that have been repeatedly fact-checked and debunked. But Democrats aren’t off the hook either. They’ve offered no serious long-term healthcare alternative, no bold plan to make coverage affordable, no vision that breaks the cycle of crisis and subsidy. Years of accepting the status quo.

So here we are again. Gridlock, furloughs, national parks closed, small businesses stranded, and families wondering how they’ll pay bills because the government can’t pay its own.

Meanwhile, politicians play to the cameras, pretending this is about principle. It’s not. It’s about power - and a President who mistakes division for dominance.

America needs a Nobody who governs like our future depends on it

America doesn’t need more name-calling. We need leadership that invests - not obstructs. We need to fund healthcare, schools, infrastructure, clean energy, and innovation. We need to plan for the next decade, not relive the past or grab the next headline.

The job of a President is to bring people together to solve problems, not to weaponize them. Real strength isn’t about telling half the country to “go to hell.” It’s about finding common ground when it’s hard, and fighting for everyone - not just the ones at your rallies.

This shutdown isn’t a symptom of policy differences. It’s a failure of leadership - and the cost will be paid by the very people our leaders were elected to serve.

The family whose healthcare premiums will jump so high that they’ll live every day in fear of an ER visit that could lead to bankruptcy.

The veterans who relied on affordable care to help them deal with the mental trauma of war but instead chose to take their own lives (or even worse, others).

Those aren’t “weak, woke constituents” to be played like pawns. They’re the unfortunate reality if we can’t find a way to do what’s right - what’s human.

We must demand better. While an extension of ACA subsidies is a critical lifeline for millions of Americans, it’s time to do the right thing, the hard thing, the just thing. Ensure universal healthcare for all. Not kicking the can down the road with “hopes and prayers” for a more balanced Congress.

Healthcare for all is worthy of this fight. Every day, we’ll tackle one big issue and put Trump’s OWN WORDS and empty promises up against real, workable solutions. Then you can decide who should be leading us forward. A nobody? Or a billionaire full of bluster?

Today’s question:
Americans are struggling with the rising cost of living. Groceries, rent, healthcare, and energy keep going up. What is your plan to bring costs down for working families?

The President’s response

“Inflation is coming down because of me.” - Truth Social, July 2024

“When I was President, we had the greatest economy in history. Gas was two dollars. Groceries were cheap. Everybody was rich.” - Rally, Michigan, 2024

“We’re going to have massive tax cuts, bigger than ever before.” - Rally, Iowa, 2024

“We’re going to impose tariffs - 10%, maybe 20% - across the board on foreign goods. That’s going to make America rich.” - Fox News, April 2024

“The Fed should drop rates by 500 basis points. Maybe more. Immediately.” - Truth Social, June 2024

“No one did more to bring prices down than me.” - CPAC, 2023

“We’re going to make housing affordable again. It’s going to be beautiful, believe me.” - Rally, March 2025

“Under my administration, inflation will be a thing of the past. Prices will come down, and they’ll come down fast.” - Press Conference, April 2025

“We’re going to bring down the prices of all goods. Groceries, cars, everything. We’re going to get the prices down.” - NBC Montana, August 9, 2024

“Unemployment is low, wages are up - all thanks to my leadership.” - Truth Social, April 2025

“The stock market is the best it’s ever been. Everyone is winning.” - Interview, May 2025

“We cut regulations and taxes. Businesses are thriving. Jobs are everywhere.” - Fox News, June 2025

Some important context

One thing is clear from his words. While the President acknowledges that inflation has hurt American families, he believes that was in the past - and that it was solely the fault and problem of other administrations. But inflation hasn’t passed. It isn’t over just because Trump is in the White House. Americans are hurting. Wages are stagnant. Job markets lack stability. And everything from housing to healthcare and energy to groceries is rising. Mission NOT accomplished, Mr. President.

A response FOR US

The real pain

Ask families who are spending $200 more every month at the grocery store if they think inflation is solved. Look at your receipts. Everything from fresh fruit to lean meat is 25% higher than this time last year. Groceries don’t feel affordable.

Ask tenants who have to renew their lease if the President has magically erased inflation. They’re seeing rent jump $500/month for a two-bedroom apartment. Now those families have to consider moving their kids out of the school district they love. Housing doesn’t feel affordable.

Ask retirees on fixed incomes if Trump’s tariff liberation day helped them pay increasing bills. Many had to cut back on medicine and fresh food just to cover air conditioning bills this summer.

Inflation isn’t abstract. It’s the pressure in your chest when you swipe your card and pray it doesn’t decline. It’s the anxiety in your kitchen when you wonder if you’ll be able to afford both groceries and gas this week. And it affects everyone in different ways.

Families in high-demand cities struggle with rising rent prices. Young professionals feel priced out of homeownership due to escalating property prices. Seniors on fixed incomes face difficult choices between paying for medication, utilities, or groceries. Parents find childcare, education, and housing cost increases unsustainable. Workers across sectors still face stagnant wages and layoffs. Rural and post-industrial communities struggle with unemployment challenges despite rhetoric of a “manufacturing resurgence.” Small business owners struggle with uncertainty and high costs due to tariffs. And young graduates leave school with the burden of more debt than ever before - with an influx of competition and limited high-wage job prospects.

Trump’s promises to reduce the cost of living haven’t materialized into tangible benefits for most of these communities. So why are we all giving him a pass? His approach: lower taxes for his billionaire buddies, claim victory, and deflect the blame to anyone still struggling.

“Maybe we didn’t work hard enough? Maybe we shouldn’t have gone to college? Maybe we should’ve invested family savings into Trump’s memecoin?” The American dream shouldn’t only be possible for Trump and his family.

Meanwhile, the President only measures success by stock market gains and rhetoric of economic growth without addressing structural barriers, long-term job stability, or the massive inequality in wealth.

The top 1% now hold ~50% of all stock. How is that helping America win again?

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" fail

Tariffs raise costs. Every economist from left to right agrees tariffs are inflationary. Larry Kudlow, Trump’s former economic adviser, admitted tariffs “fall on the backs of consumers.” Even Republican Senator Pat Toomey said explicitly: “Tariffs are just taxes on Americans. They don’t solve inflation. They make it worse.”

Fed rate cuts must be measured. Trump’s calls for slashing rates by 500 points would cause a financial earthquake. Even Fox Business host Charles Payne said: “That would crush the dollar, spark hyperinflation, and devastate retirees.” Yet the President continues childish name-calling with the Fed Chair and pursues a blatant political witchhunt with a Fed Governor over baseless fraud claims. These are all just power grabs.

Tax cuts have dramatically benefitted the rich. His 2017 tax cuts overwhelmingly favored the wealthy - the Tax Policy Center found the top 1% received 83% of the benefits. And the recent Big Beautiful Bill passing enacted more of the same cuts for the wealthiest Americans, which hanging the working class out to dry. Tax cuts didn’t create jobs. Companies spent windfalls on stock buybacks, not hiring. The Cato Institute - a conservative think tank - concluded: “Corporate tax cuts overwhelmingly benefited shareholders, not workers.”

Energy dominance in coal and oil is a myth. “Drill, baby, drill” doesn’t create millions of jobs. Oil and gas drilling is capital-intensive, not labor-intensive. And the Wall Street Journal has reported that most gains went to executives, not workers.

Wages are mostly stagnant. While the President claims to reduce costs, wages have not come close to keeping pace with inflation, exacerbating financial strain on families.

Some Conservatives are pushing back

“Trump’s claim of economic resurgence glosses over persistent wage stagnation and regional disparities.” - Fox Business, June 2025

And Republican Representative Elise Stefanik from New York criticized the President’s reliance on stock market gains as a metric for real-world economic opportunity.

Where are all of the fiscal Conservatives?

A nobody’s alternative

I agree with Donald Trump on one thing. Inflation has been crushing families for a long time. That’s real. But slogans don’t solve it.

Here’s how we bring back hope and ensure long-term inflation and cost reductions:

Cut unnecessary tariffs. Tariffs are taxes. Roll them back so families see prices drop almost immediately on groceries, appliances, cars, and clothes. Doing this will require negotiations with trading partners but would likely strengthen international relations, partnerships, and goodwill.

Stabilize interest rates. Support balanced, measured rate adjustments - not Trump’s reckless slash - so young families can buy homes without risking runaway inflation.

Expand affordable housing. Build and incentivize new housing supply to bring prices and rent down, not just pad developers’ and landlords’ profits.

Enact universal healthcare. Medical costs are one of the most significant drivers of inflation (and often hidden). Remove that burden and families breathe easier.

Invest in clean, safe, modular nuclear and renewable energy sources to offset energy price variability due to global conflict or supply gaps in natural resources.

Roll out the Innovation Corps government jobs program to create millions of new high-wage jobs rebuilding infrastructure, modernizing schools, seeking medical breakthroughs, and creating clean energy. Jobs that power the future, stabilize communities, and lower costs long-term.

Implement rent control policies that prevent excessive rent hikes and protect tenants from displacement.

Advocate for policies that promote wage increases to match the rising cost of living, ensuring economic stability for workers.

Expand access to affordable childcare services (or even better, include childcare in universal healthcare), reducing financial burdens on working parents.

Offer grants, mentorship, and low-interest loans to stimulate entrepreneurship and local economies, keeping and growing jobs close to home.

Closing rumble

I know Americans don’t want to just scrape by. They want opportunity. Pride. A fair chance for themselves and their families.

We solve inflation by solving people’s problems. Not chasing headlines, not lining donor pockets. And we build solutions that stabilize, dignify, and uplift everyday American households.

Trump wants you to believe that inflation is in the past - a Biden problem, a Democrat dead-end. But it’s still a very real challenge for most of the working class. We feel every price increase. We feel layoffs. We feel when benefits are stripped away.

Real change requires a comprehensive, forward-looking approach that prioritizes people over politics. The result: Families can afford their homes, workers earn wages that support their livelihoods, and communities can thrive without the constant pressure of rising costs.

Trump tells us “America is winning.” And that “everyone is rich.” He wants you to believe that rhetoric alone creates prosperity. So why does all that good feel so bad?

Real leadership invests in Americans, their skills, and opportunities - not empty promises. Real jobs, opportunity, and innovation - for all of us.

Share
